More Napoleonic 15mm French Hussars

Here is the rest of the French Hussars battlepack from Lancashire Games that I picked up at WMMS.  These are painted as the 7th Hussars in their olive green uniforms, ready for the Waterloo campaign.

Viewed from the front.

And from behind.

These guys suffered the curse of a new unit and were swept away in our Thursday night game last week, by Ian's light cavalry.  Better luck next time!

Thanks for looking.

    1. Thanks Jack.

I've got an incentive to get a move on with the Napoleonics as we're going to do a Waterloo based game aat the Gauntlet show in the summer to roughly coincide with the 200th Anniversary. Could be a good one!

    2. Awesome, wish I was there! Any chance you fellas would be willing to hold it in Texas? ;)

    3. I'd love to. Be a good chance to get some games in and do a bit of retail therapy, as well as some good beers and food. I feel the carry on/check in baggage allowances might restrict the transport of scenery and troops. Might be interesting explaining to Homeland Security why you have a steamer trunk full of military models as well, especially if moderns. What's the gaming scene like where you are? When I visit Houston I'm always on the look out for a wargames store stocking GHQ at US prices, but so far nothing suitable.

      Cheers, Andy

Well, and some of it is a bit self-inflicted, but you see all my campaigns are solo. Perhaps I'm a bit anti-social, but there's really only one dedicated hobby store around, and two stores where guys play games, but I'm not much for Bolt Action or Flames of War.

I have nothing against those rules, just I'm not much for that scene, particularly as I'm a 10mm guy, not 15/28mm. The nearest GHQ retailer is in Austin, about three hours away...

And don't worry about DHS, tell'em Jack sent ya ;)
Not that that would help, but it would sure as hell sound cool!

    1. Cheers Richard.

Looking forward to lots of games coming up, what with Jo6, Gauntlet and the Deeside game too. Just starting to think about finishing of the British Battlegroup for September.
