End of night turn 8. 30 Corps have reached 101st US Airborne. Airborne troops are hard pressed from the west and a panzer brigade is pressing from the east. 30 Corps armour will come in handy shortly. Some clear weather would be nice too.
82nd need to hang on in Nijmegen and the 30 Corp approach bridges. Sadly, the bridges over the Maas have been lost.
1st British Airborne are hemmed in at Arnhem.
Some idea of how far 30 Corps still have to cover. Clear weather would allow an airborne reinforcement drop with reserves available for all the divisions.
